Send Them To Greenland wants its supporters to have confidence. We understand that donors deserve to know factual information about how their contributions are being handled, and other aspects of the organization to which they are contributing. We have created the following Contributor Bill of Rights to address these concerns
Principles of the Send Them To Greenland Contributor Bill of Rights
1. You have a right to be clearly and immediately informed of the organization's name, identity, nonprofit or for-profit status, its mission, and purpose when first accessing our website.
2. You have a right to have easy and clear access to alternative contact information other than through the website or email – this information is provided under Contact Information.
3. You have a right to be assured that all third-party logos, trademarks, trustmarks and other identifying, sponsoring, and/or endorsing symbols displayed on the website are accurate, justified, up-to-date, and our relationships to these organizations, if any, are clearly explained.
4. You have a right to be informed of whether or not a contribution entitles the donor to a tax deduction, and of all limits on such deduction based on applicable laws. Note: Contributions to Send Them To Greenland are not tax deductable.
5. You have a right to be assured that all online transactions and contributions occur through Send Them To Greenland do so in a safe, private, and secure system that protects the donor's personal information.
6. You have a right to be clearly informed if a contribution goes directly to the intended charity, or is held by or transferred through a third party. Note: All net proceeds are used to fund the mission of supporting the atheletes. Additionally, Send Them To Greenland is operated by volunteers, who draw no salary.
7. You have a right to not receive unsolicited communications or solicitations unless the donor has "opted in" to receive such materials. Note: None of our lists are sold, shared, rented, or transferred to other organizations.
